Sobre Nós

IBRAAC

The Brazilian Institute for Climate Adaptation (IBRAAC) is a civil association dedicated to the study, development, and promotion of solutions for climate change adaptation in Brazil. Its work is based on the recognition that climate impacts are already underway and require practical, scientific, and political responses that strengthen the resilience of territories, productive sectors, and communities.

IBRAAC's mission is to promote effective adaptation through research, education, and consulting, supporting both the public and private sectors in developing strategies that respond to current and future climate risks. The Institute seeks to offer technical and applied knowledge to guide decision-making, always aligned with international best practices and local needs.

With a vision of becoming a benchmark in climate adaptation in Latin America, IBRAAC focuses on innovation, collaboration, and communication as ways to expand the impact of its initiatives. Its work involves researching, implementing, and scaling strategic adaptation actions, while contributing to collective learning about climate challenges. Thus, the Institute positions itself as a key player in supporting Brazil in building a more resilient and sustainable economy.
