IBRAAC contributes Climate Plan strategies to an interministerial workshop on sustainable griculture and food systems

The Brazilian Institute for Climate Adaptation (IBRAAC) participated, this Tuesday (09/30/2025), in the technical workshop for the construction of the Cross-Cutting Strategy for Means of Implementation of the Climate Plan , held in person in Brasília.


Focused on qualified listening, the meeting brought together experts, government representatives, and key players in the agro-environmental sector to discuss concrete paths to promote Low-Carbon Agriculture and Livestock and Sustainable Food Systems , fundamental pillars for an economy resilient to climate change.


The initiative was promoted by the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MMA) , in partnership with the Ministries of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA) , Agrarian Development and Family Farming (MDA) , Finance , Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) and with support from the Civil House .


Alongside other experts, IBRAAC was present with its associates Luciana Lanna and Stella Vivona, who contributed technical insights and practical suggestions for the formulation of public policies aimed at ecological transition in the field, highlighting the need for climate financing instruments, legal certainty, and integration between technological innovation and socio-environmental justice.
